Under Operation Interflex, which recently marked its third anniversary, the UK has trained over 56,000 Ukrainian soldiers, tailoring the program to the threats on the battlefield. It replaced Operation Orbital and includes assistance from 13 allies. The UK defense secretary announced an additional £247 million investment in the program, stressing the importance of training soldiers for Ukraine's defense and European security.
