A young Israeli woman who survived the Nova festival massacre in attacks by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas has committed suicide.

Shiral Golan, 22, was found dead in the yard of her home. Her brother said the young woman had symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and felt neglected by the state. Golan survived the massacre on October 7, 2023, but lost 11 friends in the attack.
