South Korean authorities have launched an investigation, and the offices of the intelligence services in Seoul have been searched. Three civilians have been indicted, and the investigation also includes soldiers and an employee of the South Korean intelligence services. Although South Korea has taken measures following the incident, Kim Yo Jong emphasized that it is essential to prevent such provocations.

North Korea has demanded explanations from Seoul and accused the South of involvement in drone operations, despite denials from the South Korean military. The South Korean president condemned the incident, warning about the risks of armed confrontation.
