North Korea conducted a test with a solid-fuel rocket engine intended for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), according to statements from South Korean lawmakers. This engine, made of carbon fiber, aims to extend the range of the missiles and allow for the transport of heavier payloads, including the possibility of launching multiple projectiles simultaneously. The test took place in March and is considered a significant improvement in North Korea's strategic forces, according to leader Kim Jong Un. Analysts suggest that the new engine has superior propulsion compared to the previous model, capable of striking any target in the continental United States. North Korea continues to defy the prohibitions imposed by the UN Security Council, demonstrating steady progress in the development of advanced missiles.
