North Korea has revised its Constitution, establishing that nuclear weapons can be used automatically if the country's leadership is eliminated or loses control over the military. This amendment was adopted during the first session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly, held in Pyongyang. According to South Korean intelligence services, the amendment was influenced by American-Israeli attacks that led to the elimination of Iranian leaders. The revised Article 3 of the nuclear law states that a nuclear attack will be launched immediately if the command system is threatened. Kim Jong Un, who commands the nuclear forces, is concerned for his personal safety and is constantly accompanied by bodyguards. North Korea is also planning to deploy a new type of artillery at the border with South Korea, thereby escalating tensions in the region.
