FIDH and other NGOs have filed a complaint against French-Israeli soldiers for summary executions of civilians in Gaza, based on recent investigations.

The complaint was filed in Paris, accusing two French-Israeli soldiers of war crimes, including summary executions of unarmed civilians in the Gaza Strip. The investigation, by Palestinian journalist Younis Tirawi, included an interview with a sergeant-major from an elite Israeli army unit who confirmed violent actions against civilians. The plaintiff NGOs emphasize that the acts allegedly took place between November 2023 and March 2024, near hospitals in Khan Younes, and consider that these acts may constitute war crimes and genocide.
