Italian grocer NewPrinces is open to new acquisitions after its takeover of Carrefour Italia, without affecting plans for a public listing.

NewPrinces has announced it will look for new acquisition opportunities after taking over Carrefour's unprofitable Italian division of Carrefour for €1, with real estate assets worth €420 million. CFO Fabio Fazzari said the integration of these assets would not affect plans to list the manufacturing division publicly on the London stock exchange. NewPrinces also recently acquired the Italian divisions of Kraft Heinz and the Italian operations of Diageo.
