Eugene K. Antwi, a 26-year-old man from Brooklyn, New York, was sentenced to prison for using stolen credit cards to purchase alcoholic beverages worth over $66,000 from stores in Pennsylvania. Antwi pleaded guilty to identity theft and theft by deception, receiving a sentence of four to 23 months in prison, followed by two years of probation and the obligation to repay the stolen amount. Authorities stated that Antwi used false identities and stolen credit and debit cards to place over 200 online orders between August 2023 and September 2024, picking them up from stores in 21 counties. Attorney General Dave Sunday emphasized the effective collaboration between law enforcement agencies that led to the discovery of this criminal scheme.
