The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the war against Iran has saved Israel from the threat of a "nuclear destruction," during a press conference that took place after the announcement of an agreement between the United States and Iran, aimed at ending the conflict in the Middle East. Netanyahu emphasized the importance of Israeli military actions in Iran, Lebanon, and Gaza, asserting that they have been essential for the security of the Israeli state.

He also confirmed that he will run in the legislative elections this fall, intending to win them. In the context of the US-Iran agreement, which was perceived as a failure by Israel, Hezbollah announced that it rejected an Israeli force that was trying to advance in southern Lebanon.
