The National Day Parade of France began with a drone and fireworks show, and security is extremely strict in the areas of deployment, with gendarmes and police present. Access to certain areas is based on a QR code, and traffic is temporarily restricted. The military parade on the Champs-Élysées will be opened by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and will include a detachment from Romania, the 30th Mihai Viteazul Guard Regiment.

The event commemorates the fall of the Bastille in 1789, symbolizing the beginning of the French Revolution. This year's theme is "the strategic awakening of Europe," highlighting the unity of the European Union in the face of current challenges. The parade will feature 80 aircraft, 33 helicopters, and nearly 7,000 military personnel, including detachments from all member states of the Coalition of Will, which supports Ukraine.
