Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, survived an American and Israeli airstrike due to a lucky turn of events. According to the publication Telegraph, he went for a walk in the garden just a few minutes before Israeli ballistic missiles struck his residence on February 28.
The attack occurred at 9:32 AM (local time) and targeted not only Mojtaba's residence but also his father and other members of the leadership of the Islamic Republic, who were killed.
Details about the incident were presented by Mazaher Hosseini, the head of protocol in Ali Khamenei's office, in front of clerics and commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), thus providing the first detailed account of the events of that tragic day.
