Mojtaba Khamenei, appointed Supreme Leader of Iran after the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, following an Israeli bombing on February 28, has suffered serious injuries in the attack. According to the New York Times, he has undergone several surgeries and is in a precarious health condition, having burns on his face and difficulties speaking.
