Prince Harry has settled his lawsuit against the Daily Mirror newspaper, winning £400,000 in damages.

After a judge ruled that the newspaper had routinely practiced telephone spying, Prince Harry was awarded £140,600 in damages. In total, 33 articles in his action were examined and 15 were found to be the result of unlawful intelligence gathering. A further 115 items in his action could have been the subject of a separate trial.
