Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum reiterated her country's opposition to any US military intervention, after the US presidential nominee for US ambassador to Mexico, Ronald Johnson, suggested that such an option was possible. The statements come as Trump has designated eight Latin American criminal groups, mostly Mexican, as 'terrorists'. Mexico's president warned that her country would not accept any US 'invasion' under the pretext of fighting drug trafficking.
