A bottle with a message from Canada has reached St Cyrus beach in Scotland after crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

A dog discovered a message in a bottle on St Cyrus beach in Scotland, after it traveled over 4,300 kilometers from Canada. The bottle, dated August 2024 and written in French, was launched from a ferry operating between Prince Edward Island and the Magdalen Islands.

Mike Scott, the local who found the bottle, was amazed by its durability after such a long journey across the Atlantic Ocean. After translating the message signed by Annie Chiasson, Scott tried to contact her through social media, but did not receive a response. The discovery sparked curiosity and brought a touch of magic to the everyday lives of the locals.
