Verstappen achieved his 66th career victory at Monza, in the 16th round of the Formula 1 World Championship, starting from pole position after setting a track record. McLaren had a controversial race, with Piastri conceding second place to Norris. Charles Leclerc finished in fourth place, while Lewis Hamilton came in sixth. Ferrari showcased a retro design in tribute to Niki Lauda, and Verstappen is now 94 points behind leader Piastri.
