German police have arrested a 27-year-old Bosnian man on suspicion of financing an Islamist terrorist attack. The arrest followed raids in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia in the cities of Essen, Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Soest. The suspect is accused of attempting to support a terrorist attack through fraudulent commercial activities. Police have not provided further details about the planned attack, saying the investigation is ongoing.
