A vegetation fire broke out on the evening of July 17, 2025 in Martigues, France, spreading over 154 hectares. Due to strong winds, local authorities are considering evacuating certain areas. Romanian citizens are advised to stay indoors, avoid the affected areas and follow the instructions of the authorities. Consular assistance is available through the Consulate General of Romania in Marseille.
