French President Emmanuel Macron and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan are expected to visit Bucharest for official visits in the coming months, according to political sources cited by G4Media. These visits have an important strategic dimension, considering the conflicts in Ukraine and Iran that influence Europe. Macron's visit coincides with France assuming the role of lead nation in the NATO Battle Group deployed in Romania, aimed at strengthening national security. France has sent hundreds of soldiers and combat equipment to Romania, contributing to the restoration of military infrastructure.

Additionally, Turkey, a key ally of Romania in the Black Sea region, collaborates with it and Bulgaria for the demining of the area. During the meetings, the two leaders will also discuss partnerships in the defense industry, considering the equipment needs of the Romanian Army, as well as possible significant investments and economic contracts with President Nicușor Dan.
