David Lammy, the British Foreign Secretary, has emphasized that there is an opportunity for a diplomatic solution to the Israeli-Iranian conflict after talks with US officials at the White House. He said that in the next couple of weeks it is essential that Iran reaches an agreement to avoid escalation of the conflict. Lammy will meet in Geneva with his counterparts from France, Germany and the European Union to discuss de-escalating tensions in the Middle East.
