The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, accused that the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova were rigged through vote manipulation by the authorities, thus facilitating the victory of President Maia Sandu's party. He emphasized that, despite these manipulations, the opposition received more votes, being aided by the mobilization of votes from abroad.
