MIDD, Latvia's intelligence and security service, has alerted the public to the presence of potential Russian spies and published a guide to help spot them. Warning signs include unusual behavior such as indiscreet conversations or inappropriate survival gear. The agency points out that Russian agents are becoming increasingly adaptable and hard to spot, given their experiences in Ukraine. Citizens are advised to leave vigilance to the competent authorities.
