The plant will be built in Germany and will be the largest lithium-ion battery recycling facility in Europe, with the capacity to recycle about 30,000 tons of batteries per year. The recycled battery production is expected to be used by Porsche. Startup Cylib uses water-based lithium and graphite recovery techniques.
