Kiev has said it will not accept the US plan to recognize Russia's annexation of Crimea, leading to the postponement of peace talks scheduled in London. Senior diplomats from the US, UK, France, Germany, Ukraine and the UK will not meet as originally planned. Instead, talks will continue at a lower level. Donald Trump and his team have stepped up the pressure for a ceasefire agreement, but Kiev seems unwilling to accept territorial concessions. It is also uncertain whether a possible ministerial meeting will take place soon.
