Karol Nawrocki was elected president of Poland with the support of the Law and Justice party and the Trump administration. After being sworn in, Nawrocki criticized the centrist government of his rival Donald Tusk and vowed to block its reforms. He also said he would not allow Poland to join the eurozone and would defend the judicial system created under PiS. Nawrocki emphasized the importance of maintaining Poland's sovereignty in the face of external influences.
