JD Vance emphasized the importance of nuclear tests for ensuring the proper functioning of the U.S. nuclear arsenal, in the context of Donald Trump's announcement to resume these tests. Vance stated that, although the American arsenal is functioning correctly, it is essential to conduct tests to maintain this capability over time, considering that Russia and China have significant nuclear arsenals.

Trump called on the Pentagon to test American nuclear weapons, citing the testing programs of other countries, especially Russia and China, but left the nature of these tests unclear. Vance commented that Trump's statement is clear, but did not provide additional details to clarify the ambiguity.
