The Israeli army will provide tents and equipment to Gaza residents before evacuating them to the south as part of a new offensive.

An Israeli army spokesman has announced that residents of Gaza's combat zones will receive tents and humanitarian equipment before being moved to the south of the enclave. This follows Israel's intention to launch an offensive to take control of northern Gaza. PM Netanyahu stressed that the civilian population would be evacuated to "safe areas" and the equipment would be delivered through the Kerem Shalom crossing point after security inspections.
