Israel's ambassador to Romania, Lior Ben Dor, has justified Israel's military offensive on Iran as a defensive act aimed at eliminating an imminent threat, namely the development of a nuclear weapon by Tehran. He stressed that the targets were strictly military, targeting generals and scientists involved in Iran's nuclear program. Ben Dor warned that Iran posed a threat not only to Israel but also to Europe, including Romania, because of its development of long-range missiles.
