Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz warned the crew of the Madleen, including activist Greta Thunberg, to turn back as they will not be able to reach Gaza. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have been ordered to act to prevent the flotilla from entering the Palestinian enclave. In another development, Israeli authorities announced the recovery of the body of a Thai hostage, Natthapong Pinta, who was kidnapped on October 7, 2023 by the Mujahideen Brigades.
