On Wednesday, Israel carried out a series of airstrikes on the Lebanese capital Beirut, the most intense since the beginning of the war on March 2. The Israeli army declared that it had conducted 'the largest coordinated strike' against Hezbollah, in the context where the recently announced American-Iranian ceasefire does not include Lebanon.

The attacks occurred without warning, causing panic among passersby and drivers, who tried to escape from the affected area. Witnesses reported scenes of chaos, with people fleeing and ambulances responding.

The strikes targeted both the city center, especially Corniche Mazraa, as well as the southern outskirts of Beirut, a Hezbollah stronghold, and other areas in southern and eastern Lebanon. This escalation of violence has raised concerns about the impact on the civilian population.
