Israeli authorities deported Greta Thunberg and 171 activists who had been detained following the interception of the Global Sumud flotilla, which was attempting to reach Gaza. Approximately 470 people were on board the civilian vessels. The activists reported mistreatment in detention, while the Israeli Foreign Ministry stated that the action is a "PR campaign" and denied the allegations.
