The Israeli services Magen David Adom and Fire and Rescue reported on Monday morning that Iranian ballistic missiles hit two sites in the city of Haifa, resulting in the death of at least two people and the destruction of a residential building. The bodies of the two victims were recovered from the rubble, and rescue operations continue to find other missing persons. At the same time, Iran suffered an airstrike on the city of Eslamshar, resulting in 13 deaths, according to Iranian media. These attacks occurred against the backdrop of heightened tensions between Iran and the United States, after President Donald Trump threatened Iran with severe repercussions if it does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz. Neither Israel nor the United States has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Haifa, but they were preceded by provocative statements from the American leader. Additionally, the Kuwaiti army announced that it is facing hostile attacks with missiles and drones, confirming their interception by air defense systems.
