Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated on Friday that Israel will become a target of reprisals if American attacks on Iranian infrastructure continue. He accused Tel Aviv of directing the U.S. military campaign and mentioned that the 'criminal Zionist regime' will not escape the response of Iranian fighters.

Zolghadr criticized American President Donald Trump, calling him 'the most despised figure in the world,' in the context of the funeral ceremonies for former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The warning came following a new wave of American attacks, which struck approximately 90 military targets in Iran, including air defense systems and nuclear facilities.

Iran responded by launching missiles and drones at American military positions in the Gulf region, and American sources suggest that the attacks could become frequent. Khamenei was recently buried in Mashhad, following extensive funeral ceremonies in Iran and Iraq.
