Mr. Iravani, Iran's envoy to the UN, said that enrichment is an inalienable right of Iran and that the country is open to negotiations, but without any conditions imposed. He emphasized that in the wake of recent aggression, there are no premises for new negotiations. Mr. Iravani also denied threats against the IAEA director and inspectors, who, although in Iran, do not have access to nuclear facilities. He also condemned calls for the arrest and execution of the IAEA chief.
