Iran has declared that it will not accept a ceasefire and considers that initiating negotiations with the United States is illogical, according to the semi-official Iranian news agency Fars. A source within the diplomatic community emphasized the failure of the U.S. to achieve its objectives, stating that Iran will pursue its strategic goals before ending the conflict.

At the same time, Iran has rejected the 15-point proposal from the Trump administration, considering it excessive and a tactical maneuver. The statements come after Trump claimed that both parties want an agreement, but details about the discussions have not been disclosed.

The Iranian press has ridiculed Trump's claims, accusing him of lies meant to calm the markets and reduce oil prices. The newspaper Javan published caricatures of the American president, suggesting that he is a dishonorable liar.
