The authorities in Iran declared on Monday that they are prepared to 'dilute' their enriched uranium, in the event that the United States lifts all imposed sanctions. The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, stated that diluting enriched uranium to 60%, which exceeds the 3.67% limit set by the 2015 nuclear agreement, depends on the removal of sanctions. This statement came in the context of the resumption of nuclear negotiations with Washington, following the Israeli-American attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities in June 2025. Eslami did not specify whether he was referring to all sanctions or just the American ones.
