On Saturday, the internet in North Korea suffered a major outage, affecting all connection routes, including those from China and Russia. British researcher Junade Ali said major news websites and the foreign ministry were inaccessible. While it is difficult to determine whether the outage was intentional or accidental, Ali suggests it is more likely an internal problem than a cyber attack. South Korean authorities could not be reached for comment.
