An attorney from the American Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), stationed in Minnesota, was recalled after stating that her job is "nightmarish" due to the overwhelming workload and the government's inability to comply with court orders.

In a discussion with Judge Jerry Blackwell, she acknowledged that the administration does not have enough attorneys to manage the Metro Surge operation, which has led to delays in the release of detainees. The judge emphasized that the government has ignored release orders, unlawfully keeping individuals in detention. The attorney mentioned that she resigned, but has not been replaced, and set a deadline for resolving the issues.
