The Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar challenged his predecessor, Viktor Orban, to a public debate on Tuesday during an intervention in the parliament in Budapest.

Magyar emphasized the importance of organizing real debates at the summer camp in Baile Tusnad, mentioning that Hungarian taxpayers have invested considerable amounts in this event. He urged for courage, hoping that Orban would accept the invitation to participate in an open discussion, perhaps even at the camp in Transylvania.

Tibor T. Toro, the founder of Tusvanyos, stated that there would be room for representatives of the Hungarian government and substantial debates, adding that, due to recent political changes, representatives of the ruling party would not participate in this year's event, although a forum for discussions between power and opposition was desired.
