At this year's Lunar New Year show in China, humanoid robots captured the audience's attention by performing advanced martial arts and parkour routines. A video broadcast by CCTV showed 24 robots executing continuous parkour, including complex jumps and a grand rotation.

Compared to last year, when the robots presented a more unstable dance, the progress is evident, demonstrating improved stability. However, questions persist regarding the advancement of these technologies and their implications. Experts emphasize that, although humanoid robots may have applications in defense, the complexity of their mobilization goes beyond simple demonstration. Hans Liwång, a professor of systems science for Defense, suggests that these performances can be seen as state propaganda, aimed at impressing the public. He advises Europeans to be aware of international advancements in the field, to learn from the experiences of others. Unitree Robotics, which contributed to the show, offers the humanoid robot G1 at a price of approximately 11,280 euros.
