Lebanon announced that Hezbollah has accepted a plan proposed by the USA, which provides for the cessation of reciprocal attacks between the organization and Israel.

The Lebanese Embassy in the USA confirmed the acceptance of this proposal, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged the agreement but warned that Israel would continue attacks on Beirut if Hezbollah does not cease its attacks on Israeli cities.

These statements were made after discussions between US President Donald Trump, Netanyahu, and Hezbollah representatives, in the context of warnings from Iran regarding threats to the ceasefire. The Lebanese Embassy specified that Israeli attacks on the suburbs of southern Beirut will cease in exchange for Hezbollah's cessation of attacks against Israel, extending the ceasefire to the entire Lebanese territory.

However, Netanyahu emphasized that the Israel Defense Forces will continue operations in southern Lebanon. Despite the agreement, clashes continued, with Hezbollah launching attacks on Israeli forces.
