An outbreak of hepatitis A has been reported in Transcarpathia, Ukraine, prompting authorities to implement additional anti-epidemic measures. Starting from November 19, for a period of 60 days, the operation of restaurants, cafes, and wedding halls in the village of Iza, an important tourist center, has been prohibited. Additionally, all educational institutions in Iza will switch to online classes, and tourist activities are suspended. Doctors warn that hepatitis A is easily transmitted through water, food, and direct contact. This is the second outbreak of hepatitis A in the last six months in the region.
