<p>Greek civil protection authorities have declared a state of emergency on the island of Amorgos until March 11 in response to intense seismic activity. Ground tremors continued to affect the region, with an earthquake recorded 24km south of Arkesini. However, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis ruled out a catastrophic scenario.
