The Generation Z protests have gained momentum worldwide, including in Madagascar, where young people have mobilized against corruption and poor living conditions. These movements are characterized by informal organization, without prominent leaders, making them difficult to suppress.

For example, in Sudan, young people were essential in the overthrow of dictator Omar al-Bashir in 2019. In Kenya, the protests led to the withdrawal of proposed tax increases by President William Ruto. Although these movements can generate political instability, they send a clear message to the elites that politics must respond to the needs of citizens. Leaders who fail to provide jobs and services will continue to face protests, symbolized by the skull flag, which reflects the anger of young people towards oppressive regimes.
