The US is hit by frost and snow, which has killed at least 50 people and disrupted transportation.

Severe weather caused 14 deaths in Tennessee, 5 people died in Pennsylvania following a highway accident, 5 people lost their lives in Kentucky, and in Oregon a snowstorm caused a power line to fall on a car in Oregon, electrocuting 3 people. Deaths were also reported in other states.
