Barrot announced that he will summon the Russian ambassador in France to discuss recent attacks against civilians and threats to European diplomats.

He emphasized that these acts will not diminish France's support for Ukraine, which continues to regain ground on the front. The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, also condemned Russia's actions, announcing a new package of sanctions and expressing solidarity with Romania. Barrot stated that Vladimir Putin's war is a failure and that doubts have settled in Moscow.
