The government of Pakistan has announced that four paramilitaries have been killed by supporters of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan. The incident occurred after thousands of supporters of Imran Khan faced a large police deployment in the capital Islamabad. The interior minister confirmed the deaths, while the prime minister said they were 'run over by a vehicle in an attack' carried out 'by demonstrators'.
