Firefighters are intervening in northern Italy, following storms and heavy rains that have caused landslides.

The north of Italy is facing severe flooding and landslides after torrential rains, with firefighters carrying out rescue operations. The images capture flooded streets and houses, and in Como, the roads are blocked by mud. Residents of Cabiate have been rescued by helicopter, and searches continue for a missing person in Piedmont.
