The fire broke out in the forested area near the city of Gelendzhik, where the luxury residence known as 'Putin's Palace' is located. Over 400 firefighters are involved in extinguishing the flames, and images capture trees consumed by fire. Although Putin denies any connection to the palace, previous investigations suggest that he may be the owner of the estate, built through corruption. Drone attacks from Ukraine have led to changes in the behavior of the Russian leader, who now avoids certain locations for security reasons.
