Fátima Bosch, a 25-year-old young woman from Mexico, won the title of Miss Universe 2023, drawing applause and joy from the audience, who waved flags of Mexico. In her statement, Bosch emphasized the desire to be remembered as a person who contributed to changing the Miss Universe prototype and highlighted the importance of the competition as a platform to give women the opportunity to make their voices heard.


In second place was Praveenar Singh from Thailand, and third place was occupied by Stephany Adriana Abasali Nasser from Venezuela. Fátima Bosch experienced a bullying incident during the competition when the contest director scolded her for refusing to participate in promotional activities, provoking a protest reaction from the other contestants.
